In Memory
MOLLIE,
I miss that wonderful voice of yours Mollie. I lived to hear you bay at the bunny rabbits and any time I mentioned the words "bunny rabbits". I also miss you baying at the hot air balloons when they go over our house.
I fell in love with you the first time I laid eyes on you at the shelter. You were a good Mama to your puppies even though they were not strong enough to survive. When I brought you home from the hospital you didn't want to stay. Oh the times I spent chasing you down through the tree line in the underbrush while you were hunting the bunnies. But I could always hear you so I knew you weren't far. You soon found out that you had a wonderful place to live, other dogs to play with, and lots of good food and cold water. Now my precious girl you will be able to hunt to your hearts content at Rainbow Bridge. You will be strong again and able to run after those bunny rabbits.
I hope God has held you in his arms like I use too Mollie and I hope someone up there plays peek-a-boo with you. I will never forget any of the wonderful things we did. The weekend breakfasts at Whipples Dam and the time you ran off to hunt and then incredibly you strolled back into camp totally exhausted. I was so relieved when you came back.
You always waited your turn to be petted, and to be hooked up for your walk. You always were well behaved and waited for your food. You were always patient. You were even patient for the end to come. I hope you were at ease when the end came for you dear Mollie. I hope it helped that we were there with you.
I will never forget you Mollie and I have the sweet memories of all you did when you were with me here on earth. I anxiously wait the day when I can come to Rainbow Bridge and hold you again. I love you.
Always,
Your Mommie
Losing a beloved pet is so very hard on all of us. They have given us so much love through the years when they were with us here on earth and now we live with their wonderful memories.
Tax-deductible donations of $25.00 can be made in memory of a beloved pet. By memorializing your pet or a friend's or family member’s pet in this way, you help Nittany Beagle Rescue give beagles who are in shelters or with owners who can no longer keep them a second chance at a wonderful life.
