Nittany Beagle Rescue - Bella

UPDATED 9/16/2024 Hi! My name is Bella! I'm a very sweet 7-year old female beagle. I need a new home because my people passed away. I'm a very affectionate & easy-going girl! I'm very loving! I'm already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines! I'm good with other dogs. I've been around children of all ages. I came into Nittany Beagle Rescue extremely overweight, & needed to lose at least 20 lbs. I've been doing the underwater treadmill at a local vet's office & my foster mom has me on a good exercise & diet regime. I've already lost over 10 lbs. & I feel fantastic! Now that I've lost so much weight, I like to go for walks! Unfortunately, because of the excess weight I had for so long, my knees got messed up. So we're also working with the vet to help with my knee pain. But I'm making great progress & I'm so happy! I love to lay on my back when I'm feeling good! (You can see my happy face when I'm on my back in one of my photos! :) I'm housetrained & I'm crate trained, but I prefer sleeping in my soft bed. I'm anxious to find my forever home! Because Nittany Beagle Rescue is still working with the veterinarian to get me healthy, I need to stay close to the State College area. Please think about making me part of your family!
