Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Squiggles & I'm a wonderful female beagle mix! I was at the shelter & they were running out of space, & so Nittany Beagle Rescue took me. I had puppies about 5 months ago - all the puppies were adopted from the shelter, but no one wanted me! So here I am - waiting for my new forever home! I have a great personality! I am good with children, cats & other dogs! I am very loving & laid back! I like to please! I will do several tricks for a treat (like speak, shake with both paws, sit pretty & lie down!). I need to be close to my person, & I will whine when my person leaves. I sleep in bed with my person at night! I do have separation anxiety & will bark when none of my people aren't home. (The presence of other animals doesn't make a difference). For this reason, I would do best in a home where there is some distance between houses. I am housetrained. I do not do well in a crate & should not be crated. I'm already up-to-date on shots & spayed. I'm about 7-8 years old. Click on my page to see a different photo of me!
