Happy

Bio at the Time of Adoption

This is a COURTESY POST. Hi, my name is Happy?, and I am a very happy female beagle. I weigh about 24 pounds. I was found as a stray about 1.5 years ago, & I have come such a long way! I was very shy at first, but now I'm a confident girl! I may have been used as a breeding dog before I was rescued. I had to learn how to play with toys! Now I love my toys, especially my soccerball with treats inside. I also love long walks & to bark at what I see in my backyard. I love everyone I meet, though I may be shy at first with some humans. Some dogs are ok, others I may not care to be around. I love belly & chest rubs, & I will remind you that I need more of these by raising my front paw to allow for better belly access! I enjoy sitting on the couch watching TV next to my family. My favorite treats are peanut butter, carrots, lettuce, & peeled apples. I'm currently eating grain-free dog kibble to help my digestion. I am house-trained. I get excited & very focused on a few things that I really want, like my favorite soccer ball & I don't like to share. So I would do best as the only dog in the home. I know there is a wonderful home who will take me on lots of walks & give me lap-time. Please think about making me part of your family! Click on my page to see another photo of me.
