Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Lily, & I'm an adorable 1-year old female beagle. I'm a very energetic dog (as most young beagles are!). I'm playful & love tug-of-war & ball! I'm also very loving & affectionate. I am jumping the 5-foot fence in my current home, & so I need a home in which I cannot get out of the secure outdoor area. If I get loose, I will follow my nose like a true beagle. I'm very good with children & I've been living with children as young as 4 years of age. I've also been living with cats & other dogs & I do well with them also. I am house trained & crate trained, & I ride well in a car. I am very attached to my people & have separation anxiety when left alone. Every now & then, if you touch my paws or if I'm trying to sleep, I will growl. I'm a young dog, & so I like to chew on things. I'll also dig in the yard & get into the garbage if you don't put it away. If you put me on a tie-out, I've been known to bark. I'm used to sleeping in a crate at night. Please think about making me part of your family! If I live with other dogs, I need to be the dominant one. Click on my page to see another photo of me! I am already spayed & up-to-date on shots.
