Nittany Beagle Rescue - Captain

Hi! My name is Captain! I'm a very friendly & outgoing 4.5 year old male beagle. I'm also very loving & affectionate! I'm an extremely active guy! I would be a great running partner for someone. I love to play ball & tug of war. I get along great with other dogs! I've never been around cats. I haven't lived with small children, & so I'll go to a home with children who are a little older (8 or so) or no children. I need a new home because my person became ill & is no longer able to care for me. I had a fenced yard at my old home, & I would escape from it every now & then. I am a digger. I'm crate trained & about 90% housetrained. I'll pace when I need to go outside. I like to hang out on the furniture with my people. But I really want to run & play every day! I'm used to being crated overnight or when no one is home. I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. Now I just need a home! Please think about making me part of your family! I weight about 31 lbs, but I'm a couple of pounds underweight.
