Nittany Beagle Rescue - Linus

UPDATED 12/1/2024 Hi! My name is Linus! I'm a super sweet beagle mix! I'm only about 30 lbs or so - so I'm a little guy! I love to give kisses! As you can see from some of my photos, I love to cuddle! I'm only 2 years old, so I'm a young guy! I've got tons of energy! (Most young beagles do!) The people who had me before I came into Nittany Beagle Rescue said that I can jump a 4 foot fence! I used to live with 5 & 13-year old children. I'm really good with them, but because of my energy level, I would do better with somewhat older children (say 8 & older). I'm vocal - as most beagles are! But I don't howl that often - just when motivated! LOL In fact, I'm living in an apartment with my foster family & I do great. I've lived with other cats & dogs, & I'm good with them, although I'll chase the cat. I will guard my food when in the crate. I'm crate trained & I do well in the crate. I can usually hold it about 6 hours in the crate. I'm crated at night & when no one is home because I'm a young guy & will probably get into things while everyone is asleep or away. I do well with housetraining if you keep me on a schedule. I'm used to going outside 5 or 6 times a day. I go to the door when I need to go outside. I might have an accident about once a week. I'm used to being allowed on the furniture. I'm already up-to-date on vaccines & neutered! Are you the right home for me? I'm such a great guy! And I'm so anxious to find my forever home!
