Nittany Beagle Rescue - Linus

Hi! My name is Linus! I'm a super sweet beagle/lab mix! I love to give kisses! I'm a young guy! I'll be 2 years old in Sept. As you can imagine, I've got tons of energy! (Most young beagles & labs do!) I can jump a 4 foot fence! So if I'm in a home with a fenced yard, it needs to be high - like 6 or 8 feet. Right now, I live with 5 & 13-year old children. I'm really good with them, but because of my energy level, I would do better with somewhat older children (say 8 & older). I'm vocal - as most beagles are! But I don't howl that often - just when motivated! LOL I live with other cats & dogs, & I'm good with them, although I'll chase the cat. I will guard my food when in the crate. I'm crate trained & I do well in the crate. I can usually hold it about 6 hours in the crate. I'm crated at night & when no one is home because I'm a young guy & will probably get into things while everyone is asleep or away. I do well with housetraining if you keep me on a schedule. I'm used to going outside 5 or 6 times a day. I go to the door when I need to go outside. I might have an accident about once a week. I'm used to being allowed on the furniture - but I've got so much energy, I don't hang out there! I weigh about 40 lbs. & I'm already neutered!
