This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Copper! I'm a super cool male hound. I look a lot like the hound in Disney's Fox & the Hound! Nittany Beagle Rescue doesn't really know what I am - maybe some treeing walker coonhound & maybe some American Foxhound. Who knows ... But I'm a great dog! I'm about 60 lbs. & about 4 years old. I'm pretty laid back. I LOVE my crate. In fact, I like to go into my crate about 7:30pm & then I get up about 7:30am! I like to go on long walks - about 3 miles a day. I also like car rides! I'll just sit there. When I need to go outside, I'll sit by the door. When I'm ready to come back in, I'll sit by the door. I'm pretty chill about the whole thing! However, if you ignore me, I will mark. So you just have to watch me. I'm pretty quiet, but if I get excited, I have the most fantastic howl! It's practically music! (I'm definitely a baritone). So even though I'm quiet most of the time, my howl is pretty loud & so I should live in a house, not an apartment or townhouse. I'm also pretty chill around other dogs. When I'm out on a walk & other dogs rush up, I just keep on walking! When my person is sitting down, I like to come sit by their feet or rest against their leg. I'm up-to-date on vaccines & I'm already neutered. I'm in a temporary foster home right now. Can you give me a home, even a temporary one while I look for my forever home? I'm such a fantastic companion! I'm very anxious to find my forever home & become part of a family!
