Heidi · Adopted 2012
Bio at the Time of AdoptionThis is a COURTESY POST. The time, weeks, maybe months, before Heidi found herself “rescued” was not kind. Heidi arrived in less than optimal condition, covered in ticks, and injured rear leg, scratches over her face, broken teeth and an ear & dental infection, yet her spirit was intact! Heidi gleefully accepted the help of the shelter and was such a pleasant patient. She stood still for hours while staff cleaned up. Surgery was performed to repair all the damage to her teeth and antibiotics for the infections. Heidi became the shelter's S.T.A.R. Patient (special treatment & recovery). She is now spending her days lounging and waiting for a special someone to give her love to. Heidi is good with gentle children and loves the other pets in her foster home. She enjoys walks outside and is ready to snuggle when in. Heidi’s nose works 110%, she is a beagle after all, but her hearing isn’t up to par due to age and ear infections. She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. She sleeps in her crate quietly though the night. If you are looking for a companion and easy walking partner, Heidi just may be the one for you! Heidi is spayed, cratetrained, & working on housetraining. Click on Heidi's page to see another photo of her! |
