Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Lucky and I'm an adorable 10 month-old male beagle. I am an affectionate, sociable and playful pup! I am also very active. I love to play ball, tag & tug-of-war! I enjoy car rides! I belonged to an elderly couple who had trouble keeping up with me, and so I'm a little overweight. I need someone who can help me shed those few extra pounds! I lived with another dog in my prior home, & got along well with that dog. I could use some some additional training. I know how to use a doggie door, but I need work on housetraining. I will run out the door, jump up on people, and steal, so my new owners will want to work with me on those things, also. I come back most of the time if you call me & if you act real happy to see me! I like to chew on things - but of course, that's what puppies do! I will need an experienced owner who can work with me on those training issues. I respond very well to praise (& food!). I'm not cratetrained yet. I am already neutered! I am living in a kennel, and I am very frightened. So I need a home!
