Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Simon, & I'm a lovable, calm male beagle mix! I look & sound like a beagle, but I'm tall - about 17" at the shoulder. I was found as a stray in an extreme case of neglect - my collar had literally grown into my neck! ( I have the scare to prove it!) But I'm in a foster home now! I'm a fairly young guy - the vet thinks I'm only 3 or 4 years old! I looked older when I was first rescued because my life had been so hard. I've had a great medical check-up & I have a clean bill of health! Two of the cats in my foster home are terrified of me, which is making life difficult. So I need an adoptive home! I'm housetrained. Also, I'm extremely affectionate and loving! I love to play tug-of-war! I get along with other dogs, although I don't like it when they try to take my treats. I get along with cats also. I like to chase them if they run, though. I'm usually quiet & seldom bark, even when people come to the door. I am neutered & up-to-date on shots, also! I'm about 47 lbs. & trim! Please give me a home!
