Bio at the Time of Adoption

This is a COURTESY POST. Betty is a 5 year-old beagle who has lived with other dogs and cats and has been around horses. Poor Betty was excessively crated and now needs someone who has more time to spend with her. She is house trained and is used to going outside after meals. Betty is very quiet and has only barked once or twice to announce an urgent need to go out! She sleeps overnight in a crate. In new environments, her behavior is very subdued. However, after three weeks in a foster home she has warmed up and become quite the character! She is very social and loves to know where you are. She will follow you around as you go about your day. Betty likes to cozy up beside you while you read or watch TV. She will do anything for a treat, and grooming is a breeze since she doesn’t mind getting a bath or having her nails clipped. Betty adores children and other dogs and plays very gently. She LOVES to sniff and explore outside! Betty is spayed and living in a foster home.
