Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Rigby & I'm a 7 year old male beagle mix! I'm probably mixed with some basset hound. I'm adorable! Most people smile when they see me! I make people happy! I've lived with a 1-1/2 year old child & I was very good with the child. I'm a pretty laid back fellow, although I do have some nervous energy. I like to suck on a blanket when I'm nervous, & I shake during loud sounds like thunderstorms. I'm housetrained. I will go to the door & whine when I need to go outside. I'm not crate trained. I like to sleep on a couch or a dog bed. I weigh about 64 lbs., but I need to go on a diet. You know hounds! We love food! I really like to get on a scent when I'm on a walk. We don't know how I would be with other dogs on a long-term basis. I haven't lived with cats. I'm already up-to-date on vaccines. I will be neutered before I'm adopted.
