Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Katinka & I'm an adorable 6-year old female tricolor beagle! I am an affectionate & easy-going dog! I love my people! I am also playful & like to play tug of war! I like to sleep in bed with my person! I also ride really well in the car! I get along well with other dogs & cats, & I like to play with them, especially with dogs that aren't too young & crazy. I will growl or fight with other dogs if they come near my food or rawhide chewies. I have been raised around older children (10 years or older), & get along fine with them. I am housetrained & cratetrained. I will go to the door & prance if I need to go outside. I love to be outside, so please do NOT trust me off-leash outside of a fenced yard. (Actually, you shouldn't trust any beagle off-leash outside of a fenced yard!) I do like to bark when I'm outside. However, I wasn't getting enough exercise in my prior home, so I might bark less if I'm exercised more (& you tire me out). I love to be praised & will respond well with praise & treats!
