Bio at the Time of Adoption

This adorable tricolor beagle is so very sweet, & she really needs a home! Iris only weighs about 20 lbs. She was found as a stray, but we think she lived in a home at one point in her life. Poor little Iris is living in a kennel right now & she is afraid. So, we really want to move her into a home as soon as possible! She needs a home that will make her part of the family, & provide her with a comfy dog bed, & let her hang out on the sofa, or even her person's bed! She seems to have hurt her leg, but Nittany Beagle Rescue is taking care of her medical care. Because she is a little older, we think Iris would do best in a home with no young children. UPDATE: Iris had surgery to remove the growth on her liver; she is recovering nicely from the operation. The vet who did the surgery is cautiously optimistic.
