Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Ammo! I'm a 2.5 year old male lemon & white beagle. I'm quite active, which is normal for a young guy like me! I'm also quite loving & so very sweet! I love to play tug-of-war & fetch! I'm already neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. I'm good with other dogs, but I don't care much for cats. Also I don't really care for play groups with lots of dogs - so a home with 1 or 2 other dogs would be best. While I was raised with young children, I'm very rambunctious with them, (and not always well-behaved). So I need a home with older children (8 years or older) or no children. I have a brother named Copper, who is also available for adoption. Copper & I love each other, but we really would be fine if we are separated. However, if we are separated, then we need to go to a home with another dog or two to make sure I have a dog friend to hang with. At the same time, Copper & I have a healthy sibling bond, and so it's fine that we be placed together in the same home. But if we're placed together in the same home, then our adopter would have to have good dog skills since 2 of us is quite the handful! No matter what, it's important that each of us go to a home where we blossom, are happy, and well-adjusted members of the family! I'm housetrained and crate trained, although I still need a little additional work on housetraining. I'm used to going outside every 2-3 hours & will whine when I need to go outside. I'm a young dog, & so I need a lot of exercise, & opportunities to run & play every day! I don't particularly enjoy car rides. I still need some training not to jump on people. I need to be in a securely fenced-in yard or on-leash at all times when outside. Click on my page to see a photo of both of us together!
