Nittany Beagle Rescue - Maizie

Hi! My name is Maizie! I'm a super sweet small female tricolor beagle! I'm less than 1 year old. I spent the first part of my life in a puppy mill. I lived in a crowded cage with other dogs. But I've been living in a home since August! I was extremely timid and anxious when I first went into a home. The person worked very hard with me & I've made a lot of progress. Since I've been in a home, I've made a lot of progress on housetraining, but I still need some more work. I get extremely anxious if you put me in a crate for any amount of time (which is totally understandable). So my forever family needs to figure out how to keep me safe when they can't keep an eye on me (from doing things that young dogs do, like chew on things they shouldn't). I'm in a foster home with another dog & I'm really happy about that! I do not like car rides. I get very anxious as soon as the car is moving & I pee. So I need a home where I get to stay home when my people leave, & who can help me with my timidness and housetraining. A home with mature dog-savvy children (at least 10 years of age) would be great if they wanted to help me blossom! I'm good with cats! I'm already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines.
