Hi! My name is Lady & I'm a super sweet older female beagle. I've lived outdoors all my life in a pen. I lived with 2 other dogs in my pen, & I got along well with them. But now I'm in a foster home & I LOVE it! I get to hang out on a heated dog bed, & I LOVE to play with toys. My favorite thing is going for walks and what my foster mom calls "sniffaris." On these, I get to sniff and sniff and lead the way. My foster mom laughs because I have a very loud bay when I get on a trail and find a squirrel or a rabbit! I love alerting everyone-wouldn't you want to know about a bunny?! I'm in really great shape and I walk at least three miles a day. My original owners said I was 11 years old, but my foster mom thinks I'm a whole lot younger. I am a very smart girl and learned my house training very quickly-I will let you know when I need to go out to potty, or when I really want to go for another walk! I have mild separation anxiety, so my foster mom is working on crate training with me so I can be more comfortable. She says I "eat things" when left alone... To me, everything just becomes a toy, I swear! I follow my foster mom around the house everywhere so she never gets alone time, but once I'm outside, I really need to be on a leash or else I'll run after a squirrel. Foster mom says I can't climb trees anyway. I'm up-to-date on vaccines and I will be spayed and have a dental soon.
