UPDATED 4/25/2024! Hi! My real name is Archer - but you can call me Archie! I'm a 4-year old male husky/doberman mix. I weigh about 65 lbs. (I came into the rescue with my beagle housemate after my owner passed away). I'm a Scooby Doo type of dog - big, goofy, lovable & loyal! If you go to my PetFinder page, you'll see that some of my photos are from a doggie fashion show I was in! (I wore a Hawaiian shirt & tie. I really looked good!) I had a great time just hanging out before & after the show! I also really enjoyed walking down the red carpet! It was a blast! When I'm not in a fashion show, I love to just hang out on a couch & watch TV with my person! I love people & I love affection! And I love to play with other dogs! So I would be great in a home with other dogs! If I was the only dog, that would be ok too. Overall, I'm a pretty easy dog! I don't really care about doing obedience training, agility or learning tricks. Like I said, I'd rather hang out on the couch with my person. I'm house trained and crate trained. I'm learning about leash walking in my foster home & I'm doing great! After a 10min walk, I'm perfectly content to go into my crate and nap. I ride well in the car and I travel regularly! I'm a no issues type of guy! I'm perfect for a person who isn't real active, & who just wants a dog to cuddle and hang out with. I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. I will chase a cat.
