UPDATED 5/4/2022 Hi! My name is Roscoe! I'm a 2-year old tan & white beagle/boxer mix. I'm a great dog! I love to cuddle with my people on the couch! I also LOVE head scratches! (I'm getting a head scratch in my photo). I'm also active & affectionate! I love tug-of-war, ball & fetch! I'm good with other dogs. I will chase cats - but just in fun. I've lived with young children & I'm fine with them. I'm crate trained & housetrained. I like to go out 2-4 times per day. (I hate the cold & will hold it rather than go outside. But if it's not really cold, then I like to go out at least 4 times/day since I enjoy being outside.) I'll sit by the door when I need to go outside, then once one of my people see me, I'll jump at the door. During the day, I like to hang out on the dog bed or the couch. At night, I like to sleep in my crate. The best way to get me to do something is to praise me or give me a treat. When I meet a new person, I can be very timid & afraid of them. So I need a home where people will let me get to know them at my own pace, & where lots of strangers don't come to visit. If I'm in a corner, please leave me alone, otherwise I will nip. If strangers come to the house, you can put me in my crate. I ride well in a car. I'm afraid of loud sounds. I weight about 40 lbs.
