UPDATED 12/9/21! Hi! My name is Chuckie. You can also call me Charlie! I'm 4 years old. I'm anxious to find my forever home! I love people & I love to cuddle! I would love to hang out with my family on the couch! I love soft toys & soft doggie beds! I'm housetrained. I sit & look at the door when I need to go outside. I'm super smart & you could probably teach me to ring a bell when I need to go out. I'm crate trained & will sleep in my crate when my people are in bed. But if you are up & about, then I want to be with you. I weigh about 25 lbs. I tend to jump on people, & so I would probably knock a young child or someone unstable on their feet down. I love to sniff & will pull on a leash. I used to live with other dogs, but they would attack me, so now I'm afraid of other dogs, so it's best I be placed as an only dog. I've been around cats, & if a cat with claws stands their ground & doesn't run, I will leave them alone. I'll be neutered before being adopted. If you don't pay attention to me, I might mark in the house. But if you pay attention to my signs, I probably won't have an accident. I love to go for walks (on a leash, of course!). I also love being in a securely fenced in yard - but I don't like to get my feet wet, so if my new person has a fenced yard, they will need to make sure I get off the porch & go potty on wet days. Please think about giving me a forever home! I have so much love to give!
