Spot is in a permanent foster home! Hi! My name is Spot! I'm an older guy. I love to eat & sleep! I smile when I sleep! I love to sleep in in the mornings & take my time doing things. So if you like to take your time in the mornings, I might be the perfect buddy for you! I really enjoy being outside, & I love walks! I'm great on a leash. I also love to play with my blankie & to roll around on my back! I'm ADORABLE when I do that! I really need a home with no steps (or just 2 or 3 to get outside) since I'm partially blind & I become afraid. It's very hard having to go to a new home & being older & not being able to see much. I ride great in a car. Just secure me to the back seat, & I'll just enjoy the ride. I belonged to a person who had to go into a nursing home & I was going to be euthanized, but this kind woman offered to take me. She thinks I probably lived outdoors. She was able to teach me house manners & I made great progress on housetraining. But I still need some work. I'm in a temporary foster home with other dogs & a cat, & children as young as 8 years & I do fine with everyone. But my foster home has stairs, & I really need a home with no steps (or just a few). So I need a long-term/permanent foster home or an adoptive home. I probably weight about 40 or 45 lbs. Please think about making me part of your family!
