Bio at the Time of Adoption

Hi! My name is Tip! I need a home because my person passed away. I'm a very affectionate guy & I love people! I'm in a foster home with children as young as 8 years, other dogs & a cat, & I'm doing great! Before that, I had lived all my life with 3 other male beagles (also available for adoption) outside as a hunting dog. But as you can see from my photos, I love living in a home with people! I love the couch & sitting next to people, resting my head on your lap! Because I haven't been around young children, I will be placed in a home with older children (8-12 years) or no children. I need a home where I will have a securely fenced yard. I have been known to dig under a fence, so it needs to be secure. I will run off looking for bunnies to chase if I get loose. I've learned how to walk on a leash & I LOVE going for walks now! I've really adjusted well to living in a home. I'm already housetrained! Tip prefers to be around people, & so he needs a home where someone works from home or is retired. Also he has hypothyroidism & needs to take thyroid medicine.
