Hi! My name is Jack! I need a home because my person passed away. I'm playful & I love to have my belly rubbed! I also love to cuddle with my people, & with the other dogs in the house! But I'm also ok hanging out by myself. I'm full of energy! I'm a very smart fellow & I learn quickly! I know how to sit & shake! I've been in a foster home for a month or so, & I'm doing great! Before that, I had lived all my life with other beagles outside as a hunting dog. But I LOVE being part of a family! I'm in a foster home with a 2.5 year old child, & I do great with him! I also get along great with the other dogs & cat in my foster home. I might chase a cat when I first meet them, but then I stop after a day or so. I would love a home with a securely fenced yard since I love to run & play outside. I especially loved the snow this winter! I'm good on a leash - but I am a beagle so I'll pull on the leash & I'm quite strong. I'm housetrained & crate trained. When no one is home, I go in a crate - just toss a treat in the crate & I'll go right in! Please think about making Jack part of your family! Jack is about 8 years old & weighs about 35 lbs.
