Adopted Beagles, 2004

Abby

Bio at Adoption: Hi, I'm Abby! I am a real sweetheart -- you can't help but love me! I love to snuggle, & I'll follow you around the house wherever you go. I'm very well trained -- I sit on command; I will come when called, & I really like to fetch! Also, I'm learning the word "treat" in my foster home. I'm also very good with other dogs. I totally love my squeaky toys. I will go to the door when I need to go out, & I'm crate-trained. Small children frighten me, & it would be best if I was in a home where there isn't a lot of activity. I am already spayed & up-to-date on shots. I am housetrained, but sometimes I have accidents in the house if I'm frightened.

Annie

Bio at Adoption: Annie is a 8 or 9 month old beagle. She is very sweet and gets along with children, other dogs and cats. Annie is partially housetrained. She is up-to-date on shots and will be spayed before she is adopted. Annie is living in a kennel and needs a foster home.

Beagle Bailey

Bio at Adoption: Hi, I'm Beagle Bailey! I'm a 6-year old male beagle. I'm a very friendly, laid-back fellow. One of my greatest joys is snoozing next to my person. I'm good with adults, children, and other animals. I am a little shy of loud noises, so please don't take me hunting. I know I can fit in well with any slower paced family. I am housetrainied, neutered, and up-to-date on shots.

Bob

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Bob and I am an adult, male tricolor beagle. I love being with people! So please consider making me part of your family! I was found as a stray so Nittany Beagle Rescue doesn't really know about my history. Bob is neutered and up-to-date on shots. He is living in a kennel and needs a foster home.

Bosco

Bio at Adoption: Hi, my name is Bosco! I am about 1½ years old, and I am a male tricolor beagle. I am outgoing and friendly, and I love to play with other dogs! I'm young, so I play hard and I have lots of energy -- just like a puppy! I am fine with cats (although sometimes they scare me if they hiss). I'm still young, so if you don't watch me, I might chew on things. I can jump a 5 foot fence, so I will need to be kept on a tie-out or leash when outside. I am neutered and up-to-date on shots. I need a foster home!

Brooks

Bio at Adoption: Hi, my name is Brooks! I am a 3-year old tricolor male beagle. I was named after the Brooks in Brooks & Dunn. I am housetraineed. I love children, and am excellent with other dogs. While I have never been around cats, I think I would get along fine with them. I had a very rough start when I was very young and now I am afraid of some men. I can climb fences, so it's best that I live in a home with a privacy fence or in a home where I will always be exercised walking and running on-leash. I am neutered and up-to-date on shots.

Brownie

Bio at Adoption: Brownie is a 7-year old tricolor beagle. She loves children and is good with other dogs. She hasn't been around cats. She is a little shy until she gets to know you, but then she is all kisses! Brownie will be spayed before being adopted. She has lived in a kennel all her life and is currently working on housetraining in her foster home.

Bucky

Bio at Adoption: Hi, I'm Bucky! I'm an adult male tricolor beagle. They say I'm 6½ but I might be older. I adore being around people and children and love to have my tummy rubbed. I'm on the chubby side (my foster mom and I are working on that) but I'm in good health. I'm a big fan of sleeping but also enjoy going outside on walks and watching cars go by from the porch. I get along well with the other dog in my foster home and don't pay any attention at all to the hamster. When I'm not napping or giving kisses I spend most of my spare time wagging my tail and walking around looking happy. I adjust quickly to new situations and love car rides. I'm also housetrained and neutered. If you give me a chance I know I'll be a great addition to your family!

Bud

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hi, I'm Bud! I am a 18-month old male beagle at the Bedford Shelter in PA. I come from the same family as Laddie. I loves to play tennis ball and romp and wrestle with other dogs. I will be neutered soon. Please call the Bedford Shelter & ask for Alysia at 814-623-8968.

Buddy

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Buddy and I am a 2-3 year old male tricolor beagle. I am a very friendly, sweet dog. I love children, and I seem to be good with other dogs. I do bark at cats, but that would probably change once I get used to them. I was originally found as a stray several months ago. Buddy saved the person who found him from being bitten by a copperhead snake, and got bit himself in the process. Buddy seems to be housetrained, enjoys sleeping on the couch and car rides. Buddy needs a foster home. He will be neutered before being adopted.

Budman

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Budman, sometimes people call me Bud. I am a seven year old neutered, male Beagle, up to date on my shots and a very friendly dog. I have a slight problem with very young children. After six years my Mom had a baby and I became jealous. I am very loyal and sometimes exhibit separation anxiety, but I will make someone a wonderful and devoted friend. I currently live in Falmouth, ME with my foster family. Please give me a loving home.

Bio at Adoption: Daisy is a 2½ year old tri-colored beagle. She is small - only 24 lbs and shorter than 13 inches. She was found in the middle of the woods this past winter and has been staying in a home since then. Daisy is very loving, and she would prefer to be the only dog in the family. Daisy is in good health and housetrained. Her owners can not keep her because they travel. Daisy is up-to-date on shots and will be spayed before she is adopted.

Dancer

Bio at Adoption: Hi! I'm Dancer and I'm a 2-year old red and white male beagle. I've been living in a kennel, but I would love to live with my very own family in their home. I am crate-trained and am partially housetrained. I have been around children and do well with them. I am good with other dogs and cats (although I may chase the cat every now and then). I am an active, easygoing beagle. However, I am on the submissive side. I will be neutered before I am adopted. I am up-to-date on my shots.

Bio at Adoption: Hi I'm Dinker! I'm a 6-year old chocolate female beagle. I love people and other animals. I am very affectionate, easygoing and attentive to the family I live with. I am at my happiest when I get to sleep in bed with you. I feel most at ease when I am in the same room with you. But please don't try to pick me up because that is a scary thing to me. Once I get to know you, I'll come sit with you. I am housetrained and I love to be outside in a fenced-in yard during the day. I am best suited for a peaceful home. I am spayed and up-to-date on shots.

I get along with other dogs and cats, although I chase the cats. I can't help myself - I just want to play with them! I act like a puppy, and I will chew on things (just like a puppy)! I am nearly housetrained. I haven't been around children, but I would probably like them (especially if they would pet me and play with me!). I am neutered and up-to-date on shots.
