Adopted Beagles, 2017

Bindi Sue

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Bindi Sue! You can call me Bindi, for short. I'm a female red tick beagle, & I will be 2 years old on July 1. I'm a very, very active beagle - but that's to be expected because I'm so young! I love attention, & I'm very affectionate! I like to sit on the couch with my person & sleep in bed with them at night. I'm good with other dogs. I haven't been around cats. I need a home with a fenced yard (or one where I will run every day with my person - on leash, of course!). I like to play fetch, frisbee & ball! I'm fine with teenagers, but young children frighten me. I can be skittish, and so I need a calm, quiet home where I can get lots of exercise. I do bark, and so apartment & town house living isn't for me. I am housetrained & crate trained. I will wait at the door & whine or bark when I need to go outside. I go out frequently. However, I love my crate. Sometimes I prefer to sleep in my crate. I ride very well in a car. I'm already spayed & up-to-date on shots! I'm small - I only weigh about 20 lbs. I'm just waiting for my forever family to adopt me! Click on my page to see another photo of me.

Missy

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Missy, & I'm a very sweet senior female beagle! I need a new home ASAP because my owner could no longer take care of me, and now I'm living in a boarding kennel. So if you can't adopt me, please think about fostering me! Living in a kennel is no place for an older gal like me! I've got a little arthritis, & so I really need to move to a home with a nice comfy dog bed. I'm affectionate & loving. I love to hang out with my people! I've been around children & I'm fine with them. I've also been around other dogs & cats, & I'm fine with them. In fact, I just ignore them. I ride well in a car (after I settle down). I bark when I need to go outside. However, I have some housetraining issues, so my new family will need to work with me on that. Also, I'm not spayed due to the vet's recommendation. Please give me a home! I desperately need one! Click on Missy page to see another photo of her!

Sweetie

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Sweetie! I'm about 8 years old, & I'm a female beagle mix. Sweeetie's name fits her! She is the sweetest girl! Sweetie loves to hang out on the couch & sleep with her person at night! She loves people! Sweetie has even been around young children & is good with them. She just tends to ignore young children rather than play with them. Sweetie has lived with a cat & got along great with the cat! However, she is territorial with other dogs. So she would do best as the only dog in the family. Sweetie is housetrained. She will let you know when she has to go outside by going to the door with excitement. Sweetie is also crate trained. She rides well in the car. Sweetie might be mixed with some basset hound, & weighs about 40 lbs. Please make Sweetie part of your family! Sweetie is up-to-date on shots & spayed. Sweetie is available for adoption through Centre County PAWS. If you are interested in Sweetie, please email: dogs@centrecountypaws.org
