Adopted Beagles, 2014

Abby

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Abby & I'm a beautiful lemon & white beagle! I'm 7 years old - which is a great age for a beagle! I'm an affectionate & loving girl, & would love to sit next to you on the couch! I'm also easygoing & obedient! I'm playful - I like to do tricks for treats & run around the yard looking for bunnies. I've lived with children 10 & older, & I do very well with them. I live with Louie, who is also available for adoption. While we would like to go to our new forever home together, it is not necessary. I usually go outside 3 times a day. I am also cratetrained. I don't really like car rides. I am already spayed & will be up-to-date on shots before being adopted.

Abby Rose

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Abby Rose, & I'm an adorable female tricolor beagle! I'm about 3-4 years old, & I was rescued by a kind woman from a very bad situation. I am a lap dog & love affection! I just love to cuddle with my person on the couch! I am also active & playful: fetch, tug-of-war & ball are my favorite games! I adore children & would thrive in a home with children who would like to play with me! I am skittish of other dogs, particularly bigger ones, & so it would be best if I was the only dog in the home. (I will fight back if a dog picks a fight with me). I am also fearful of men, & so men in my family have to be gentle & let me take my time getting to know them. I am cratetrained & housetrained! I will go to the door knob & bounce when I need to go outside. Currently, I am crated when no one is home & at night, but that is because I live with other dogs & that's not a good situation. I probably would prefer to sleep with my person at night. I am spayed & up-to-date on shots. Are you the right family for me? If so, please think about making me part of your family!

Annie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Annie & I'm an adorable female tricolor beagle. I'm about 3 years old. I'm an affectionate & loving dog! I just love to cuddle in bed! I also love to go on walks & be outside. I'm quiet for a beagle. I’m timid at first & can be reserved until I get to know you. I love to be with the other beagle I live with – another dog helps me feel secure. I'm amazing with children, & I’ve lived with a toddler for the past year! I'm also good with cats! I am housetrained & cratetrained. However, I have accidents in the house when my people are away. (I don't have accidents in the crate). So I need a family who is patient and gentle, or someone that isn't gone long hours (in case I stay in the crate while you are gone). Preferably my new family has a smaller dog like a beagle to help me feel secure when no one is home. I prefer to sleep in bed with my person at night. I’m also cratetrained, spayed and up-to-date on shots. Please think about making me part of your family!

Barrett

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Barrett and I'm a 3 year old puppy! I'm a pit, but Nittany Beagle Rescue made me an honorary beagle because I'm such a great dog! Barrett does excellently with other dogs (he goes to doggie daycare regularly). He would be best in a home without small children because he'd knock them down. He is still mouthy when overstimulated and therefore needs a family who understands/can work with that. He also needs a home that will provide more than just daily walks for exercise/energy outlet. I have been updated on vaccines and am neutered. What I need now is a forever home. Please contact Happy Paws Happy Homes for an application or visit www.happypawshappyhomes.org

Beasley

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Beasley and I'm a 10-month old beagle mix puppy. I'm as cute as can be! I'm an active & affectionate fellow! I love to play tug-of-war and ball. Being young, I have tons of energy, & I still do puppy things like chew. I live with children and I've been around other dogs, & I am great with them! I like to be with my people and get anxious when I'm alone (I'll howl in a crate when left alone). I prefer to sleep in bed with my person at night so I will help keep you warm during the winter! Just like most beagles, I am not good about coming when called. And so I would do best with a family who is home a lot and lives in a house, preferably with a fenced yard. I had a rough life my first couple of months, and so I get anxious and suffer from submissive urination. So I also need a family that is patient and kind. I still need work on some training issues (housetraining, jumping up) but I'm a puppy & that will come. I am already neutered & up-to-date on shots. I weigh 27 lbs. Please give me a home! Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Bentley

Bio at Adoption: Hi everyone! I know I don't look very beagle or even hound like, but Nittany Beagle Rescue is giving me a courtesy post to help me find my forever home. My real breed is actually a mix of two bulldogs, I am 1/2 English Bulldog and 1/2 old English Bulldog. I am only one year old, but I am already house trained and neutered. I am a larger fellow at 65lbs. I am also very spunky and full of puppy energy, I would make a great hiking partner. I would greatly benefit from continued socialization and training. I am also very good with kids! We aren't positive how I'd do living with other male dogs, but seem do to fine on walks around other dogs, and was friends with the neighbors dog. Please consider making me a part of your family today! I am now with Pets Come First, please come visit me there! https://www.facebook.com/PetsComeFirst

Billy Ray

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Billy Ray! I am a very sweet, easygoing fellow! I was rescued by some kind people who took me in. I was so weak, I could barely walk! (They tried to find my prior owners, but no one claimed me). I was starving when they found me, but I've put on weight since then! I am very sociable! I really like people. I am great with the children of the people who rescued me. I like to play with the children in the family! However, I am not housetrained yet, & so I will need a patient family willing to work with me on that. I haven't spent a lot of time with other dogs & cats at my foster home. I seem to be fine with cats. Big young dogs intimidate me, but I might be okay with a calm dog about my size. I will get on a scent & just go - so I must be on a secure tie-out or in a securely fenced yard when outside. I will be neutered and up-to-date on shots soon. Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Blue

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Blue is a senior beagle adopted from the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH a couple of weeks ago. He unfortunately didn't get along with the family cat. Blue is neutered, UTD on shots, and heartworm negative. He likes kids, other dogs, just not overly found of felines. He's in Bethel Park, PA just outside Pittsburgh. Please contact Renee Brekosky on Facebook if interested, or call her: 412-720-2300.

Brody

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Brody, & I'm a 7-8 year old male tricolor beagle. I am the sweetest & calmest little guy! I am affectionate & loving! I'm also easygoing. But I'm also playful! Fetch & ball are my favorite games! I tend to be submissive. I get along with other dogs & cats. However, children make me nervous, especially young children (under 10). So I would do best in an adult-only home. I like to snuggle up next to my person on the couch. Sometimes I like to sleep in bed with my people - but not always. Sometimes I'm happy just to sleep in the crate. I'm the sweetest boy! I am housetrained & cratetrained. I will pace in a circle when I need to go outside. I am already neutered & up-to-date on shots! Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Bruce

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Bruce & I'm a real sweetie! I'm a male tri-color beagle, & I'm about 7 years old. I'm a very mellow guy! The only thing I get really excited about are rabbits, chest rubs, and treats! I'm affectionate & easygoing! My favorite thing to do is to hang out on the couch with my person. I like to give "hugs"! I will come up to you, lean against you, and then roll over for a belly rub! I'm also quiet! I have been raised around children of all ages, & I am very good with them. I'm living in a house with another dog & cat, & I'm fine with them. I survived a house fire a couple of years ago, & in the past, I've been possessive over my food with other animals. I am housetrained & cratetrained. (I'm used to eating in my crate). I am about 20 lbs. overweight, & so I need a diet & some moderate exercise to help me get those extra pounds off! (I used to sleep in bed with my people, but then I got too heavy to get up on the bed. So for the past few years, I've been sleeping on the couch at night). I ride well in a car. In fact, I'm just happy to be with my people, wherever you may go! I'm already neutered! Please give me a chance! I just want a new family to love!

Buddy

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Can anyone help this poor dog? 11 years spent living inside and well loved, now chained outside. Buddy is now living outside - tied up during the day and in a crate at night - he lived 11 years up until now in a home. His family moved. Buddy is in the State College area. Fostering or adopting, anyone? Buddy has lived with cats his entire life. In fact, his human mom says that he thinks he is a cat - likes to curl up on the top of the couch like one. He has been successfully introduced to some dogs, hasn't liked a few others. He has never had an issue with children, although he hasn't been around many small ones. He is a typical hound who likes to stick his nose everywhere! Buddy is not yet fixed, but we will assist in getting this done for his family. If you are interested in Buddy, please contact us for an application or download one from www.happypawshappyhomes.org

Chester

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Chester & I'm a beautiful 6-year old male beagle. I'm very affectionate! I'm also an active & happy boy! But I'm also easy-going! I've been raised around children & I've lived with other dogs all my entire life. I'm also good with cats! I just love to sit on people's laps or lay next to you on a chair. I also want to sleep next to you in bed! Won't you give me a home? I may need some work on housetraining, although I'm doing really great with that in my foster home! I'm a really sweet boy! Please make me part of your family! Chester is neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. Click on Chester's page to see another photo of him!

Chopper

Bio at Adoption: This sweetheart needs a home! Chopper was surrendered by his family to a shelter because they couldn't keep him anymore. Chopper lived with a younger dog, but that dog was adopted. The shelter was getting full, so Chopper came to Nittany Beagle Rescue. Chopper is a lemon & white male beagle - he's about 7 years young. He & the other dog lived outside, however the people who adopted the other dog said he is housetrained. So it is likely that Chopper is also. Chopper loves people! He also loves to lay on his back on the grass & sun himself! He is very well mannered. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but then warms up & is quite loving! Chopper is already neutered & up-to-date on shots. He is currently living in a boarding kennel, but is anxious to become a member of a family! Chopper was raised as a hunting dog, and so he will put his nose to the ground and turns his hearing off. Consequently, Chopper can not be off-leash outside of a securely fenced yard. Because of his hunting background, he would go through an invisible fence. Click on Chopper's page to see another photo of this beautiful boy!

Duke

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Duke & I'm a beautiful 6-year old male beagle. I'm very affectionate! I'm also an active & happy boy! But I'm also easy-going! I've been raised around children & I lived with Chester my entire life, who is also available for adoption. I've lived all my life outside in a pen, but I want to be with people so much! Won't you give me a home? I will need some work on housetraining, but I already have the basic idea. Nittany Beagle Rescue can give you some helpful hints on that. I'm a really sweet boy! Please make me part of your family! Duke is neutered & up-to-date on vaccines. Duke is living in a boarding kennel & needs a home! Please help Duke! He has been in the kennel for such a long time!

Eevee

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Eevee & I'm a 4-year old female tricolor beagle! I'm quite beautiful! I'm an affectionate & loving girl! While quite active, I also have very nice manners! I know how to sit & shake for a treat! I also know down! I'm just a fun girl! I'm a sensitive soul, through, & I get anxious when alone. I will bark if left alone for more than 1-2 hours, and so I need a home where there is a little bit of distance between houses. I've been living in a family with children aged 5-12 years & I'm very good with them! I also live with another small dog & a cat, & I'm good with both! I love & need people! I've been passed from home to home, & so I just want to be part of a loving & kind family that will make me theirs forever! I love to go for runs/walks on a leash! I also like to play tug-of-war & I really like to ride in a canoe! I also ride well in a car. I love to sleep in bed with my person at night! I will also sleep in a crate. I am cratetrained, but I don't like being in the crate if no one is home. In fact, I do better outside of the crate if no one is home. I am housetrained, & will go to the door when I need to go outside. I am already spayed & up-to-date on shots! I am living in a boarding kennel - so please give me a home! Click on my page to see a different photo of me!

Finnie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Finnie & I'm a beautiful 6 year old female beagle! I am an affectionate & loving girl! I am also playful & active! Tug of war is my favorite game! I am good with children of all ages, & other dogs! I haven't been around cats, but I'm probably fine with them (although I may chase them at first). I am very obedient for a beagle! Plus I ride very well in a car! I am frightened of loud noises & new situations. But I am quite sociable once I get to know you! I am housetrained & cratetrained. When you are away from the house, it's best to crate me, since I like my crate & it makes me feel secure. I will scratch the floor during a thundestorm, so you might want to put me in a crate during the storm. I'm used to going outside 4-5 times a day. I also know how to use a doggie door! I am already spayed & up-to-date on shots. I am living in a boarding kennel - which is scary for me. Please think about making me part of your family! My photo is coming soon!

Heidi

Bio at Adoption: Hi, My name is Heidi & I'm the sweetest little beagle girl! I love being in your lap and close to you! I was found as a stray, but Nittany Beagle Rescue thinks I am at least partially housetrained. They think I am cratetrained as well. I am living in a boarding kennel right now & in great need of a home. I'm a little older & that's hard for a little thing like me! I am up-to-date on shots & will be spayed soon. Please think about making me part of your family! I really miss having people around. Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Jagz

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Jagz & I'm a 7-year old male tricolor beagle! I'm a very friendly & sociable fellow! I'm also loving & affectionate! I like to play tag & tug-of-war! But I'm also content to sit next to you on the couch! I've lived with children as young as 2 years of age & do fine with them! I've also lived with other dogs & cats, & have done great! On top of it all, I like car rides! I will dig in the yard if I get bored or if there is something interesting under the ground - but most dogs will do that. I am housetrained & cratetrained! I usually go outside every 6-8 hours, & I tell you I need to go out by going from you to the door & back! I usually sleep in the crate at night. I have been eating wet food mixed with dry in my foster home. I am already neutered & just waiting for my new forever home! Please think about making me part of your family! Click on my page to see a different photo of me!

Kemper

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Kemper! I'm about 8 years old. I'm very lovable & calm! To see a video of me, click on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdWlkcQ6bHY I'm the type of dog that would love to just lay on the couch beside you. I'm not a total couch potato, though! I also like to play! Plus, I'm great with children, cats, horses and other dogs! I am housetrained, cratetrained & do well with an invisible fence! The folks at Nittany Beagle Rescue think I'm adorable! Don't you just want to hug me & make me part of your family?!! Please think about adopting me! I am already neutered & up-to-date on shots! Kemper has some problems with separation anxiety when his people leave the house, but he does fine if he lives with at least 1 other dog.

Kira

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Kira, & I'm the sweetest little beagle girl! I was found as a stray & taken to an area shelter, but Nittany Beagle Rescue was able to take me in! I am very loving, & love to give people hugs! I'm between 5 and 7 years old & full of energy! I'm a small beagle, probably only about 20 lbs! I am playful with other dogs, but sometimes I get my dander up a little! I need a little more work on housetraining. I am cratetrained, so I need a person who will help me become totally housetrained. I am spayed & already up-to-date on shots. Please give me a home! I have a wonderful beagle bay! Sometimes I will bay if I want attention, & so it would be best if I lived in a house with a yard rather than an apartment or townhouse. Click on my photo to see another picture of me!

Lady

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Lady, & I'm a very affectionate & sweet tricolor, female beagle! I was found in the middle of the road by some kind people who took in. I was so weak from an infection that I couldn't even move out of the middle of the road! I've been treated for the infection, and had a tumor removed that was causing the infections. But I've got a clean bill of health now! Please think about making me part of our family! I need work on housetraining, so I will need a patient family who can work with me on that. I am an older gal & I would love to have a family who will care for me & love me. I will love you even more back! I am spayed & up-to-date on shots.

Louie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Louie, & I'm a male tri-color beagle. I have these cute freckles on my ears! I'm 7 years old - which is a great age for a beagle! I'm an easygoing & obedient boy! I like to do tricks for treats & run around the yard looking for bunnies. I've lived with children 10 & older, & I do very well with them. I like to sit beside my person on the couch! I live with Abby, who is also available for adoption. While we would like to go to our new forever home together, it is not necessary. I usually go outside 3 times a day. I am also cratetrained. I like car rides! I will be neutered & up-to-date on shots before being adopted.

Lucy

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hello! My name is Lucy & I'm about 1.5 years old. I am a very loving girl who may be shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I am good with children and other dogs, but I'm not very good with cats. I am both house broken and crate trained, using a plastic crate. I especially enjoy chewing on rawhides or peanut butter filed kongs in my crate! I am living at the center, so I can be seen any time that PAWS is open. I can't wait to meet you! Please think about making me a part of your family! I am available for adoption through Centre County PAWS: dogs@centrecountypaws.org

Mack

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Mack & I'm a young male adult beagle mix! I was found as a stray, but the vet thinks I'm about 3 years old. I'm a very mild-mannered & easy-going guy! I really like hanging out on the couch with my person! I'm a happy fellow also! I love to play with my person - especially tag & tug of war! I'm good with other dogs & cats. However, children make me nervous. So I need an adult-only home. I can be a timid & fearful of noises, & so my new person should be patient introducing me to new things. I am already housetrained & love being in the house! However, if I'm outside, I have to be on a leash or in a fenced yard since I start sniffing & won't come when you call. But if I'm in the house & my person calls my name, I'll come right to my person! I'm cratetrained, & am used to being crated at night (otherwise I might get in the garbage). When I need to go outside, I whine & hop around. I am already neutered & microchipped! I was probably abused at some point, and so I would do best with a person or couple with a fair amount of experience with different dogs. Please give me a home! I am available for adoption through Centre County PAWS: please contact dogs@centrecountypaws.org

Max

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Max, & I'm about 8 years old. I desperately need a home! I am good with children of all ages, other dogs & cats! I am extremely loving! I want to be close to my people - so I'll go where ever you go when we're inside the house. (But you can't let me off leash outside, or I'll follow my nose as most beagles do!) I can be timid & I'm frightened of loud sounds. I've been bounced around from home to home. I may have not have had enough to eat at one point in my life. So I will eat whatever I can find. For example, I might help myself if you are laying on the couch with a bowl of popcorn on your chest. I need some work on house manners. But I'm a smart boy & want to please! I need a family who will be kind & patient with me since I've had a pretty hard life. I am house trained, but you need to put me in the crate if you will be gone more than 4 hours (otherwise, I might have an accident). Please give me a home. I will be living in a boarding kennel soon, & I just want to be with people! I will be neutered before I'm adopted.

Millie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Millie & I'm a very sweet & loving female beagle! I'm an older gal; I need a new home because of financial hardship in my family. Please think about making me part of your family! I'm easygoing & quiet! I'm very affectionate! I love belly rubs! Also, I love to be with other dogs! I have some separation anxiety when I'm alone, but if I'm with other dogs, then I don't. If I'm by myself (without other dogs), then I will potty in the house. But if you put me in a room like the kitchen & put papers down, I will go on those. (Crating me doesn't help). I've been around cats when visiting other folks. I'm fine with them. I'm okay with young children for a while, but then I will hide from them. When I need to go outside, I will go to the door. (I'm used to going out about 4 times/day). I'm house trained & crate trained! I like car rides (although I'm frightened at first, but then I settle down). The best way to get me to listen to you is with praise & treats! I am timid at first, so you just need to take your time with me. Please think about making me part of your family! Click on may page to see another photo of me!

Molly

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Molly! I'm the sweetest little girl! I was found as a stray so Nittany Beagle Rescue doesn't know a lot about me. I seem to be housetrained & I'm good with other dogs! I'm probably about 4-5 years old. I am a little timid, so I would probably do best in a home with quiet, calm voices. I weigh about 23 lbs. I do like to sniff, so I must always be on-leash or in a securely fenced yard when outside. I'm up-to-date on shots. Right now, I'm being treated for a skin & ear infections, so I will be spayed after I'm better. Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Mylee

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Mylee & I'm a 6-year old female beagle! I'm a very sweet girl! I'm an affectionate & easygoing dog! I'm also a happy girl! I love to play with my chew toys & bones! I've been raised with young children & I'm excellent with them! I've also been raised with other dogs & cats. I'm very good with the other animals in the house, although I will snap at the other dog if he tries to take my toys or bones. I am housetrained & cratetrained. I usually go outside 3-4 times a day, & I will go to the door or come to my people to let them know I need to go outside. I have been blind in one eye since birth, but that eye has never given me any problems. I am already spayed & up-to-date on shots. I am allergic to poultry & grain, and so I require a high quality dog food that doesn't contain those ingredients (like Nutro Natural Venison & Potato). Also, I'm prone to ear infections, and so it is very important my ears be cleaned regularly. I have a good beagle nose & it is important that I be on a leash, line or in a fenced yard when outside. Please give me a home! Click on my page to see a different picture of me!

Ollie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Oliver, but you can call me Ollie. I'm a 7 year-old male tricolor beagle. I'm a funny guy & will make you laugh! I'm also playful & active! My favorite games are fetch, tug of war, ball & clean up. (Not many dogs are into "clean up"!) I'm also very affectionate & loving! I was raised around teenagers and school-aged children. I'm also well behaved around toddlers & babies (although I may want to give them a big kiss on the face!) I also ride well in a car (I ride loose quietly). I will take off if I'm off-leash, so I do need a fenced yard or to be on a leash at all times when outside. While I lived with other dogs & cats in my prior home, I would probbaly do best as the only dog. (One of the dogs who I used to live with would pick fights with me, & now I'm not too sure about other dogs). I am housetrained & cratetrained. In fact, I prefer to sleep in my crate at night. I am already neutered. I am living in a kennel right now & miss having a family! Please think about making me part of your family! Click on my page to see a different photo of me!

Radar

Bio at Adoption: Hi, my name is Radar & 4-year old male lemon & white beagle! I'm a very loving fellow! When I'm in the house, I like to chill out & just relax with my people. But when I'm outside in a fenced area, I like to run around & bark at the passerbys! I'm also playful - I love to play games like fetch, frisbee & tug-of-war! I can also be sensitive & timid. I've been around young children, but because I can be timid, I would do best in a home with children who are old enough to know how to handle a dog (about 8 years of age & older). Also, it's best to be gentle with me when I do something wrong because I'm can be sensitive & timid. I've lived with another dog & a cat, & I'm fine with them. At night, I sleep on a dog bed under a cover, next to my person's bed. When no one is home, I stay in the crate. I am housetrained & will bark at the door when I need to go outside. I like car rides, but can be rambunctious. I'm a little overweight & need to lose a few pounds. I need a new home because my people rent & aren't allowed to have pets. I am already neutered & up-to-date on shots. Please think about giving a great fellow like me a home!

Reese Cup

Bio at Adoption: This is a COURTESY POST. Hi! My name is Reese Cup, but you can call me Reese for short! To see a video of me, click on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd1CLkI9tks I'm a male red and white beagle. I'm very affectionate & loving! I'm a very playful & fun dog! I have lots of energy, especially in the morning! I love attention. When I'm startled, I will jump & I might land anywhere - on your lap or even on your head if you're laying down! I like to gently nibble on my favorite people (they are just little love bites). I really like children & I like it when they come visit me. However, it would be best if I was in a home with only adults who have considerable experience with dogs. I'm good with other dogs & cats. However, I like to be the only one & it would be best if I was the only dog in the home. I'm housetrained & crate trained. Also, I'm neutered & up-to-date on shots. Please think about giving me a home! Click on my page to see another photo of me! I am available for adoption through Centre County PAWS: please contact dogs@centrecountypaws.org

Rosie

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Rosie & I'm an adorable lemon & white female beagle! I'm 7-years old. I am very sweet & calm. I like to nap in the sun on a comfy dog bed! (But who wouldn't!) I get along great with other dogs. Also, I am good with small children! I haven't been around cats. I sleep on a dog bed at night. I am very clever & know how to paw open the refrigerator door! So my new home may need to put a child-proof lock on it! I am housetrained, spayed & up-to-date on vaccines. Please think about making me part of your family!

Sadie Mae & Sallie Sue

Bio at Adoption: Hi! We're Sadie Mae & Sallie Sue! We are affectionate & loving 5-year old female tricolor beagles. Sadie Mae is sociable & quite playful, while Sallie Sue is more reserved & timid. We are very bonded & need to be placed together. (Sallie Sae becomes anxious when she is away from Sadie Mae). We have been raised with young children & we are very docile. We are also housetrained & cratetrained. We will go to the door when we need to go outside. We both like to play ball, fetch & tag. Sadie Mae also likes to play tug of war. We like to sleep in bed with our person at night. We don't really like car rides. We will be spayed before being adopted. Please think about giving us a loving, forever home! In the photo, Sallie Sue is in the front & Sadie Mae is in the back.

Squirt

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Squirt & I'm a 8 or 9 year old male beagle! I'm a little guy! I'm an active & playful fellow! My favorite games are fetch & tug-of-war. I am very loving & affectionate! I'm also easygoing! I am good with children of all ages, & other dogs! I haven't been around cats, but I'm probably fine with them (although I may chase them at first). I ride very well in a car! I am frightened of loud noises. I'm housetrained & cratetrained. I like my crate & it makes me feel secure. I'm used to going outside 4-5 times a day. I also know how to use a doggie door! I am already up-to-date on shots & neutered. I am living in a boarding kennel, so I really need a home. Please think about making me part of your family!

Sydney & Popeye

Bio at Adoption: Sydney & Popeye are 2 very sweet little female beagles. Both are less than 20 lbs., about 2 years old, & are tri-colored. Sydney & Popeye are very bonded & will be placed together. They belonged to an elderly gentleman who was no longer able to care for them. Sydney & Popeye are living in a boarding kennel right now & are very frightened. Sydney & Popeye haven't had much exposure to children, & so they will only be placed in a home with mature children or an adult-only home. Can you give Sydney & Popeye the home they so desperately need? Their photos are coming soon!

Sye

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Sye & I'm a purebred male beagle. I am a real catch! I love attention & my people! I'm great with children, other dogs & cats! I'm also housetrained & cratetrained, although sometimes I will whine in my crate for awhile. I am already neutered, & I'm about 6 years old. I like to sleep with my person at night on the bed. I will dig under a fence, so you need to keep an eye on me if I'm in a fenced yard. Please think about making me part of your family! Click on my page to see another photo of me!

Titus

Bio at Adoption: Hi! My name is Titus & I'm an adorable male beagle! To see a video of me, click on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgpwe1k-z98 I'm about 7 years old, & I'm a total sweetheart! Everyone loves me! I will love you back many times over! I'm very affectionate! I love to sit on my person's lap! I'm wonderful with children, other dogs & cats! In fact, I would do best living in a house with at least one other dog. I love to play with other dogs, & I enjoy being outside on my walks! I am housetrained - I go to the door or look for my person if I need to go outside. I am cratetrained. (I prefer to sleep in my crate at night). I am afraid of thunderstorms, & will howl during them. I am already neutered! Please think about adopting me!
